Reiki Ho
Reiki-ho (“Reiki” In English) is a traditional Japanese way of using Ki for hands-on healing of the body and mind, the same way as other hand healings that have existed from ancient times. It was originally established as “Usui Reiki Ryoho” by Mikao Usui (1865 – 1926) in 1922 as “the way to make mind and body healthy on the basis of the Universal Reiki“.
Usui Sensei’s teaching was that the purpose of life is to achieve a peaceful mind state and then while holding that peace within, fulfill our destined missions. Usui said “Everything that exists in the Universe possesses Reiki“.
The Universal energy exists in everything; it is the life energy inside the human body that gives us natural healing ability and the power to live in health and wholeness. The life energy is known by a variety of names such as aura, Ki, vitality, Reiki, Reishi, life magnetism, prana, Chi, body radioactivity and so on.
Usui Reiki Ryoho creates happiness, relaxation and healing. It allows anyone to live life fully by harnessing the energy from the Universe. Reiki-ho differs, however, from other similar healing methods in the respect that a difficult training period is not necessary and anyone can perform the healing easily just by following the system.

About Gendai Reiki Ho
Gendai Reiki Ho is a practical Reiki system meaning ‘a practical method for modern people‘.
Gendai Reiki Ho does not teach the same exact system of Reiki as is taught by the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai. Its purpose is to create a resonance between Reiki and its use within the everyday life of our modern society.
Gendai Reiki Ho’s attunement methods have been developed based on Western Reiki, not on the reiju of the Usui Reiki Ryoho Gakkai. The Gendai Reiki Ho attunement method is not the same as what was practiced by Usui Sensei. It is patterned after the Western style attunement because it has many aspects that are better suited to modern people since the physical constitution and lifestyle is different compared to that of Usui Sensei’s time.
In 1995 the Gendai Reiki Healing Association was established for the purpose of properly teaching the origin and use of Reiki Ryoho. To help establish more universal and trustworthy guidelines for the practice of Reiki in Japan, a non profit organisation called the Gendai Reiki Network (GRN) was approved by the Japanese government in April 2005.

The advantages of practicing Reiki-ho
1. No hard training is necessary. Soon after you receive Reiki energy, you can start ‘hand healing’.
2. Once you get the ability, you never lose it; it remains forever.
3. Concentration is not needed. Just putting your hands on allows the energy to flow as needed.
4. The effect does not differ from the believer to the non-believer.
5. You do not take in any negative energy.

Modern scientific studies have proved that everything in this Universe consists of vibrations. Such vibrations surround us and we are all vibrations.
From long ago, people have been aware of the higher form of vibration that heals illness and gives us peacefulness. It is called Reiki and it is one of the vibrations that fill the Universe.
Reiki-ho (“Reiki” In English) is a traditional Japanese way of using Ki for hands-on healing of the body and mind, the same way as other hand healings that have existed from ancient times.
Gendai Reiki Ho is not a new Reiki system. It can be referred to as “original Japanese Usui Reiki Ryoho in the Gendai Reiki style,” as it allows people in modern society to learn and practice the original Japanese Usui Reiki Ryoho easily and comfortably.
Gendai Reiki Ho has been accepted by many people as a very simple Body-Mind improvement technique that requires no hard training.
Certification levels of Gendai Reiki:
Level I – Shoden (Reiki 1)
Level II – Okuden (Reiki 2)
Level III – Shinpiden (Reiki 3)
Level IV – Gokuikaiden (Master)
Seminars are offerd in person in London and include authentic, individual in person attunements.
Gendai Reiki Ho Level I Shoden (Reiki 1)
This seminar for beginners will open the Reiki pathway, by receiving energy transmissions (commonly called attunements) that are performed three times. These energies transmissions will open the channel enabling you to connect to Reiki whenever you need it. In this seminar, you learn the basic theories and healing techniques. You can use Reiki that very same day.

Gendai Reiki Ho Level II Okuden (Reiki 2)
The attunements in Level II enhance the quality of Reiki energy within you. By using the symbols and Kotodamas, you can use Reiki in an infinite number of ways: for example, you can send powerful energy onto a particular point, send balanced and harmonious energy into your feelings and emotions and perform healing beyond time and space, connecting your consciousness to a distant place, in the past or future in addition to the present.
One symbol and its accompanying Kotodama are given in one attunement. You take it three times in Level II, which consequently initiates you to three symbols and three Kotodamas in all.
Reiki symbol as a “shape or letter” and Kotodama as a “voice or sound” allow you to harness Reiki energy with more potentiality.

Gendai Reiki Ho Level III Shinpiden (Reiki 3)
The forth symbol and its Kotodama are given by three attunements. This greatly changes the quality of the energy that flows inside you; it becomes as fine and subtle as the higher dimensional energy. The energy works on the body and the consciousness to connect and unite them with the Light of the higher dimension.
The forth symbol, called the Usui Symbol or Master Symbol, is the supreme symbol of Reiki-ho and considered very sacred overseas.
When you reach this level, you will consider Reiki as the hado that guides you to spiritual awareness, and you will want to resonate with Reiki all the time to help you advance yourself through your daily life.
Reiki is not just a technique for you anymore. Instead, you reach the highest level of energy, and your self-cleansing and healing ability make remarkable progress.

Gendai Reiki Ho Level IV Gokuikaiden (Master)
This is a training course for Reiki Masters who wish to become teachers. You learn to perform the attunement and to instruct in the usage of Reiki-ho for the people who want to learn it.
Level IV is the last step in learning Reiki-ho and you take the integrated Attunement with all four symbols.
You learn how to teach correctly and spread Reiki-ho to many people. It is a training for Reiki instructors rather than extra steps for learners.
Those who have completed this course with their ability approved are called Reiki Masters or Reiki teachers.
All who want to become Reiki Masters learn not only the attunement techniques or Reiki usages. It is also necessary to understand Usui Sensei’s spirit as the founder of Usui Reiki Ryoho and the ultimate usage of Reiki-ho so that you can convey it in the right way.
