What does Spirit Release mean?
Spirit Release is the means used to assist a client with a condition known as spirit or energy attachment and plays an integral role within regression therapy.
In the natural cycle of life and death, the spirit moves to the Light after it has left the body. However, sometimes spirits become what is known as earthbound, because they cannot progress as they remain mentally attached to the earth plane for various reasons such as unfinished business, traumatic death, anxiety for a loved one on Earth, fear of the Light etc.
They may be referred to as ghosts, spirits or intelligent hauntings, but are generally thought to possess the same personality and traits as the person who has passed on.
Earthbound spirits are rarely malicious, most of the times they are just confused and look for help. They manifest in different ways: they may stay in houses or places, or they attach to a living person.
” Spirits become bound to the earth for many different reasons, all of them having to do with the spirit’s consciousness. Depending on what they have been taught, some spirits are afraid that in the Light they will be judged and punished. Hoping to avoid what they believe will be painful; they attach themselves instead to some place or some person in the physical reality”

Often people are unaware of how these energies are affecting them, as the effect can be quite subtle. However in some cases the impact of these energies on the person can be more noticeable. These energies can attach under different circumstances such as if we are unwell, highly emotional, have been in an accident or had a shock, been under anaesthesia or are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Vulnerability to Spirit Attachments
The aura is our energetic immune system; a weak aura and energy field create vulnerabilities to spirit attachment that varies according to predisposition, health and circumstances.
According to the Law of Vibration, the aura is an electromagnetic field that vibrates at different frequencies. Numerous practitioners think that people whose auras vibrate at high frequency cannot be influenced by spirits, as these seem to vibrate at lower frequency.
Under what circumstances are people vulnerable to spirit attachment? Below are some of these situations:
– Depression
– Organ transplant and blood transfusion
– Injury
– Use of drugs
– Use of Ayahuaska
– Spiritual emergency
– Illness
– Emotional and mental disturbance
People who work in these following professions are more vulnerable to spirit attachements:
– Medical doctors and nurses
– Therapists, Counsellors, Psychiatrists
– Police, Army, Fire Brigade
– Funeral Directors staff
– Hospital staff
– Priests and religious people
High-risk places for earthbound spirits and other negative energies:
– Cemeteries
– Hospitals
– Pubs
– War zones,
– Nightclubs
– Clinics
– Therapy centres
– Hospices.
Spirits are often attached through energetic cords, therefore the cord needs to be cut and healed in order to release the spirit (read how to cut cords with Reiki).
How do spirits affect people?
The presence of earthbound spirits can affect people in a number of ways.
The following is a sample of some symptoms that might indicate the presence of an earthbound spirit(s) or negative energies. (Please note the presence of one or more of the symptoms does not mean that you have a spirit attachment):Lack of energy
– Mood swings and character changes
– Memory disturbance and/or poor concentration
– Hearing disturbing voices
– Abuse of drugs and/or alcohol
– Impulsive behaviour
– Severe anxiety, depression or physical problems with no apparent cause
– Having continuous nightmares
Spirit Release is a loving process that can assist any earthbound spirits to free themselves from this vicious circle and continue their journey to the Light.
Protection Prayer for Cleansing and Release of Negative Entities

The following prayer is adapted upon a channelled communication from the (archangel) Uriel, which comes from the book Remarkable Healings by Shakuntala Modi. This prayer should be said aloud:
I request my Higher-Self, my guardian angels and the highest levels of Light to remove all earthbound spirits, demons, and other entities, dark shields, dark energies, dark devices, and dark connections from my body, my aura, my soul and my connection to my Higher-Self.
I affirm that it done now.
I request my Higher-Self, my guardian angels and the highest levels of Light to fill all those areas where entities have been removed with the highest levels of love, light, forgiveness, healing, and balance.
I affirm that it done now.
I request my Higher-Self, my guardian angles and the highest level of Light to remove all earthbound, demons and other entities from my home, workplace, places of recreation, cars and everything in them and fill all those areas with the highest levels of love, light, forgiveness, healing and balance.
I affirm that it done now.
I request my Higher-Self, my guardian angels and the highest levels of Light to plug all holes, tunnels within me and within my surroundings and cars to fill all those areas where entities have been removed with the highest levels of love, light, forgiveness, healing, and balance.
I affirm that it done now.
I thank my Higher-Self, my guardian angels and the highest level of Light for all of the support that I receive and affirm my intention to dedicate myself to aligning my life to the karmic plan of my Spirit for this present incarnation and to reject all links with demonic entities, demonic energies, and humans under their under their influence.
As you say this prayer visualise a column of dazzling, shimmering, vibrant, white, liquid Light, or the sun’s Light, coming down from above your head and filling your whole body, cleansing and healing every part, every cell, and every organ of your body. If you cannot visualise or imagine it, just affirm that this is done and it will be so.
Visualise or imagine this highest level of Light spreading out from your core soul essence within you and extending out for arm’s length around your body, below your feet, above your head, in front of you and behind you and on both sides of your body creating a bubble of brilliant white Light all around you.
Then visualise or imagine that this Light is covered by spiritual reflective mirrors, facing out and covered with rays of shimmering Light all around you.”
